Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Tymon Dublinowski (“I”, “me”, “my”), as an individual developer, collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you use the BuildStrikeX website (buildstrikex.com), my mobile applications (including BloxChamp and future releases), and related communications and support. Together I call these the Services.
BuildStrikeX is a personal project name — not a registered company. I aim to be clear about my practices. This policy is organised in sections so you can find what matters to you. It reflects applicable data protection law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where it applies.
2. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is:
For questions about this policy or your data rights, please contact me at the email above.
3. Scope
This policy applies to the website and apps I publish under the BuildStrikeX project name. It does not apply to products or sites run by other people or organisations under their own privacy policies (for example Google Play, Apple App Store, Google AdMob, or other advertising and analytics partners), even when you reach them through my apps or links.
4. Data I collect and receive
4.1 Data you provide
I may process information you voluntarily provide, for example when you email me, report a problem, participate in surveys or beta programmes, or use features that ask for input inside my apps. This can include your name or nickname, email address, message content, and attachments.
4.2 Account and store data
When you install or use my apps through Google Play, the Apple App Store, or other app stores, the platform operator may collect and process personal data under its own terms. I receive only what the platform shares with developers (for example identifiers needed to deliver the app, aggregate statistics, or purchase confirmations). I do not receive your full payment card or bank details from the store; those are handled by the platform and its payment providers.
4.3 Communications and content
If you contact me or send feedback, I process the content of those communications to respond and improve the Services. Information you choose to make public inside an app or on third-party services is visible according to that context; I am not responsible for what others do with information you publish voluntarily.
4.4 Aggregated and anonymous data
I may use aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you (for example usage trends) to analyse and improve the Services.
4.5 Sensitive categories
I do not ask you to provide special categories of data (such as health, political opinions, or biometric data) and do not seek to process them.
5. Data collected automatically
5.1 Usage and device data
When you use my apps or website, certain technical data may be collected automatically or through tools integrated in the software, such as:
- device or app identifiers, IP address, operating system, language, and general location derived from IP;
- crash logs, diagnostics, and performance data;
- interaction and gameplay-related data needed to run features you use.
5.2 Website
My public website is largely static. I do not use first-party advertising cookies by default. Standard server or hosting logs may record technical data (for example IP address and request time) as required to operate and secure the site.
5.3 Advertising (Google AdMob)
My apps may display advertisements served by Google AdMob or related Google advertising services. AdMob and its partners may collect and use data to show, measure, and improve ads, including:
- advertising ID (for example Google Advertising ID on Android or Apple’s ID for Advertisers on iOS), where available and permitted by your device settings;
- IP address, device type, operating system, language, and general location derived from IP;
- app interactions with ads (for example impressions and clicks).
Google may use this data according to its own policies. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps.
Where required by law, I rely on your consent or legitimate interests (balanced against your rights) to show personalised ads. You can limit ad personalisation in your device settings and through Google’s tools (see section 12).
5.4 Other third-party tools in apps
My apps may include other third-party software development kits (SDKs) or services (for example analytics or crash reporting) provided by partners such as Google or other vendors depending on platform and build. Those partners may collect data as described in their own privacy policies. I select and configure tools where needed to operate and improve the Services; I do not control all processing by third parties. For the latest list of integrated services and how data is used, refer to each app’s store listing (including any App Store privacy nutrition label), in-app disclosures, and partner documentation.
6. Legal bases and how I use your data
Depending on the situation, I rely on one or more of the following:
- Contract — to provide the Services you request, handle purchases mediated by platforms, and respond to your enquiries.
- Legitimate interests — to secure the Services, fix bugs, understand aggregate usage, prevent abuse, and communicate important updates, where balanced against your rights.
- Consent — where required by law (for example certain marketing, personalised advertising, or optional analytics), which you may withdraw at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
- Legal obligation — where I must retain or disclose data to comply with law.
I do not sell your personal data in the conventional sense of selling lists to advertisers.
7. Who I share data with
I may share data with:
- Platform and infrastructure providers (e.g. Google for Play distribution and AdMob, Apple for App Store distribution, hosting, email delivery) who process data on my instructions or under their own policies as independent controllers where applicable;
- Advertising partners (including Google) to deliver and measure ads in my apps;
- Service providers I use for technical or legal support, under confidentiality where applicable;
- Authorities when I believe disclosure is required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of users or the public.
I may share anonymous or aggregated information that does not identify you. If I transfer an app or this website to another person or project in the future, your data may be transferred subject to this policy or equivalent protections, unless you agree otherwise.
8. International transfers
Some recipients may be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where I transfer personal data from the EEA, I use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or other mechanisms recognised under GDPR, unless an adequacy decision applies.
9. Security
I implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; I encourage you to use strong passwords on your devices and accounts.
10. Retention
I keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described, unless a longer period is required by law. Support emails may be retained for a limited time to handle follow-up. Aggregated statistics may be kept without identifying you.
11. Children
The Services are not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe I have received such data, please contact me and I will take steps to delete it. Age requirements on app stores may also apply.
12. Your rights and ad choices
Where GDPR or comparable law applies, you may have the right to:
- access a copy of your personal data;
- rectify inaccurate data;
- erase data in certain circumstances;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- data portability for data you provided, where technically feasible;
- withdraw consent where processing was based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise these rights, contact tymon.dublinowski@gmail.com. I will respond without undue delay and within one month where required, or inform you if an extension applies. You may also contact the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), or the authority in your country of residence.
Advertising choices
You can limit personalised advertising in several ways:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → opt out of Ads Personalisation (wording may vary by device).
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising (wording may vary by iOS version).
- Google: Google Ad Settings.
Where app stores or AdMob require a “Privacy Choices” or privacy policy URL, I use https://www.buildstrikex.com/privacy#privacy-choices, which points to this section and the contact details in section 14.
13. Changes to this policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. I will post the current version on this page and adjust the effective date. For material changes, I may provide additional notice (for example through the app or by email where appropriate). Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
